About: A true destination winery located just off Cayuga Lake about 15 minutes north of Ithaca, Americana is a strong advocate of supporting local businesses. Their Café uses local seasonal ingredients in their from scratch kitchen. And the winery boasts over 30 award-winning wines. The winery hosts WHEY LOCAL SATURDAYS, the second Saturday of each month which features one of our Trail's cheesemakers, and hosts concerts every Friday (6-8) and Sunday (4-6) year round. About: Since opening their doors in 2010, the team of viticulturist Jason Hazlitt and winemaker Justin Boyette have developed a tasting room that supports the local arts, including the culinary and agricultural arts. Selling local cheese has become an integral part of their operation. Customers enjoy pairing the local cheeses with HWC's growing list of dry whites and reds (and a few semi-dry to sweet wines too).
